New bridge at Pye Mill

posted 5 May 2016, 01:50 by Robert Burch   [ updated 6 May 2016, 01:20 ]
The old arched bridge at Pye Mill is being replaced by a pre-fabricated steel cantilever bridge with wooden handrails.  This is to reduce the likelihood of flooding upstream caused by water backing up against the arch of the old bridge.
