Fire at the Churchill Arms Aug 2017

Post date: Aug 13, 2017 7:15:58 PM

There was a fire in the roof of the Churchill Arms at around 5pm on Sunday 13 August.  Nobody was hurt but there appears to be considerable damage.  Three appliances arrived from Campden, Stow and Pebworth.

One report says that the fire was spotted by a passing motorist (the pub was closed at the time).

A witness suggested the the cause might have been a tumble drier in an upstairs room.
