The Village Hall Committee usually runs events at least once a month. All events are in the Village Hall unless otherwise stated.

Wine tasting March 2026

These are the instructions for adding the calendar to Google Calendar on Android devices:

Open Google Calendar.
On the left side, find "Other calendars" and click the down arrow .
Select Add by URL.
Enter the calendar's address in the field provided. The address needs to be an ICAL link.
Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under "Other calendars.

Villagers also take part in a wide range of activities in the neighbouring villages of Chipping Campden, Blockley and Ebrington.

Broad Brush Collective (Art Group)

We are a small group who meet twice a month in Paxford Village Hall for Life Drawing and Printmaking.

This is an opportunity to try something not often available outside studios and college.

We pay a small annual subscription and a fee for the day.

LIFE DRAWING

We have a selection of both male and female models for a two hour morning session once a month.

We are not tutor-led but we are all willing to share our knowledge and experience. Any medium can be used.

PRINTMAKING

We meet one day in each month and are fortunate to have our own press so are able to use a variety of methods.

Previous experience is not essential and our friendly group are happy to help.

Anything Goes Art Group

This local art group now meets monthly in Paxford Village Hall. Come and explore ‘doing it your way’ within a friendly group, using paint, glue, paper, found objects, photographs etc to create your own unique piece of art. A monthly prompt offers pause for thought. If you want to be creative on your own terms and let go of boundaries call Sue 01386 593505.

Paxford Walking group

Come and enjoy the countryside with us.

We are a friendly group of walkers who meet every Tuesday morning to enjoy fresh air, exercise and a good chat, and sometimes a coffee afterwards.

Our walks are in the surrounding area and cover a 4 to 5 mile route over 2 ½ hours.

10.00 am Tuesday 5th May

ETTINGTON TO PILLERTON HERSEY

A moderate walk over farmland with 2 slopes. About 5 miles.

Meet in the layby on the A429 - north of Halford on the entrance to road on left signed Newbold and Alderminster.

Coffee available after the walk in Ettington - 2 minutes away by car.

EVENLODE TO CHASTLETON

A moderate walk over pasture and through woods with 1 incline. About 5 miles.

Meet at Evenlode village hall. Coming from Moreton take first left into Green Lane and then bear right to Vine Terrace. Parking available here or in village.

10.00 am Tuesday 19th May

ALDERMINSTER TO WIMPSTONE (followed by Annual Lunch)

An easy walk over pasture and along lanes. About 4 miles.

Meet in the car park at The Bell in Alderminster.

The walk will be followed by our Annual Lunch at The Bell at Alderminster.

10.00 am Tuesday 26th May

GUITING POWER TO KINETON

A moderate walk through woods and farmland. About 5 miles.

Meet outside the Old Post Office in Guiting Power, parking courteously in the village.

Refreshments available here on our return.
