Goosey the prodigal goose returns home

An urgent email putting the whole village on high alert was rushed out on July 16th. Goosey the goose had apparently wandered off from her comfortable home beside the pond. Huge concerns were raised as it seemed inconceivable that Goosey would voluntarily forsake her accustomed luxury surroundings. Thoughts of kidnap or murder by Foxy Woxy were even mooted.
However, within twenty four hours, she had returned to much rejoicing. It seems she had decided to go racing but was unaware that races are only held once a year on Easter Monday in Paxford. Thank you to everyone who checked sheds, outbuildings and scanned the horizon for a sighting of Goosey whilst she was missing.
