Originally built as a meeting room for the Paxford Working Men’s Club more than 100 years ago, Paxford Village Hall now serves the community of Paxford and surrounding area. The hall and its equipment are available to residents, friends and family of the village and the local neighbourhood.
It is a light, bright hall with pleasant atmosphere and comfortable chairs. It is suitable for everything from children’s parties to meetings of up to 45 people. It has an extremely well-equipped modern kitchen. Free Internet access via WiFi is available throughout the building. There is a high quality audio-visual system suitable for playing music, sound reinforcement with a hearing loop and showing presentations from a laptop or playing Blu Ray DVDs.
As Paxford Village Hall is a registered charity, all hire proceeds directly contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the hall to help preserve it for future generations to enjoy. The main floor area is 8.5m x 5.3m. The hall is all on one level and there is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
There is free parking on the road in front of the hall.
Note the hall is not licenced to sell alcohol but you can, of course, bring your own.
